Same old, same old

When I did non-profit fundraising I kept noticing that many of my peers would jump from organization to organization. For some of them it was a promotion, for others I think it was more to deal with boredom.

I get it. I hate doing the same thing over and over again. I may be excited the first time, perhaps even the second, but definitely not the third. What kept me at places longer than I should have stayed was seeing how sometimes taking those leaps sent you from the fryer pan into the fryer.

That may be what we’re going to experience now that we’ve struck Iran. Today he claimed that the next leader could be “as bad” as the last. WTF!!!!!

Six U.S. military people so far have lost their lives, countless civilians have been killed, and millions of dollars spent for possibly the same situation. And all the while many of us are really annoyed at the affordability problem that he apparently doesn’t think exists.

I had planned to be off caffeine and sugar for a month as a bit of a reset, but I may have to rethink this.
