Having it both ways
Our unappealing VP recently tried to insult the people in the current batch of Epstein files, yet claimed his boss wasn’t one of them. Hopefully, no one will believes this nonsense from a man who travels with a multi-car motorcade to Europe. After all, the files had thousands of entries for his boss, along with his donors, other Republican operatives, and several current cabinet members. It seems to me like this whole regime is the Epstein class. They all seem to think the rules don’t apply to them.
What’s really sad is that it’s not just these terrible people who are trying to make us into an autocracy that are at blame, but past administrations clearly didn’t take these victims seriously, or any female victim. As much as I want to blame Kash Patel and Pam Bondi, and all these others who claimed they supported victims, our government, even under Democratic politicians, wasn’t much better.
Maybe all the damage they are doing to these departments will force us to start from scratch. I just don’t see how you can reform some of these agencies that clearly have no interest in reform.
