Fantasy worlds
I’ve been alternating between two novels that I’ve yet to finish, and that I started around the pandemic. One takes place during the pandemic, the other is set a few years after. As bad as that time had been, it seems to be a cakewalk to what we’re dealing with now. Dredging up information from those days feels like a break from reality.
While I’m thankful that a year into this insanity I’ve found reputable alternative news sources, it doesn’t change the fact that we’re living in insanity. I keep waiting for countries to shut us out of entering. Even with the lies that took us to Iraq, that president did make a case for war and gathered allies. This is all down to one egotistical madman.
I think whether you’re creative or not, we’re all going to have to make up our own fantasy worlds because that will be our only escape.
